Crossing Paths "Philosophy"
There is no true knowledge to be gained. No answers lie in my forgetful mind, though I've searched for them. No luminous truth is exalted in the sky of my world; my world does not resemble the place in which we live. It isn't made up of optimists and liars, but of men who are truly free. If you didn't care what people thought of you, you could have anything you wanted. You would be free. But you can't stop caring, somehow I've managed. Even as I'm judged for my world I feel better the further I dig my heels into it. I don't mind being hated. One day I'll have to watch my world burn. After all— that is the point, the end, the greater purpose, to watch my world be destroyed with all of you locked inside. After all, I've spent enough time burning in yours. It's your turn.
