are cheap excuse
for sorrows too great to explain
from sorrows of puppets
and laboring servants
flood joy and oppression both

were blessing and curses

Leave Us As You Come
Every cloud to approach shows winter is to come.
Winter will pass, with the dew on the grass
and will leave us as it comes.
Trouble came with the wretched snow, and frost.
Inviting death, with winter's every breath
frozen palms for fingerless hands
Will leave us as they come....
